This VoIP Provider review page contains brief descriptions of the experiences I have had with each of the featured Internet Phone Service Providers. These reviews take into consideration: plans, features, call quality, tech support, customer service, and the overall level of satisfaction with the Internet Phone Service. With each review, I will include an area where I believe the particular VoIP Service Provider fell a little short...as we know, no one is perfect. Please note that each individual experience can differ, as there are outside factors, such as the users ISP, that may affect the Internet Phone Service quality differently for each subscriber. These are my reviews based on a High-Speed Cable Internet Connection, using a regular touch-tone phone. If you need to check your Internet speed, Click Here!!

Phone Power is a bit new to the VoIP market, however they are making a big splash. Every review site on the web includes glowing reviews for Phone Power's support, service, and overall experience. Of course there are a few negative ones out there, but the fact that the positives overwhelmingly outweigh the negatives, that show you something there. My experiences have been no different. Do not hesitate to make Phone Power your first choice, or replacement.
As with any new VoIP Provider, there are some hiccups. There were a couple issues with my billing, but they were taken care of quickly, and accurately.
Lingo has been in the VoIP game for a while. It appeared that they were starting to move away from United States marketing for a while...which I do admit worried me They are back, and back in a BIG way. I have had great service with Lingo for over a year now. They were one of the first providers that I tried, and have stuck with them. If you call Internationally, the Global Chatter plan is the right choice: $34.95/Mo, Unlimited calling to U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico + 300 International minutes.
I will say, as I have not had many issues with the Phone Service quality, customer service can be a bit lacking at times.

Another GOOD quality VoIP service provider. I have monitored this company for a while, and they have come a long way. They have a great feature set, and middle of the road pricing. I have had a few issues with the service, and that is why they are a GOOD provider and not a great one. Customer service seems to always be available, and is based in the United States. This can be a plus, especially when contacting VoIPYourLife after normal business hours.
As the support is U.S. based, it does appear to be lacking in knowledge sometimes. I have had both great experiences, and lengthy/frustrating ones as well.
Easy to remember name, and sometimes I think that is all they sank their money into. I can say however, I have had okay service with this company up to date. I ordered them when I was a little more experienced with VoIP, and knew how to handle some of the basic technical problems myself. Because of this, I have maintained pretty good service through VoIP.com. The prices are tough to beat, and the feature set is at the top compared to other Internet Phone Service Providers.
As mentioned the customer service is almost non-existent at times. They prefer you use their web forums for help. If you are new to VoIP, this may not be the right choice.
Vonage seems to be the rock of the VoIP industry. They have been around the longest of all these providers, and has also been through a lot of trouble.....but they always seem to come out alright. With 25+ features, and a very reliable network, this may be the most risk-free VoIP service provider to choose. Their Unlimited plan is only available monthly for $24.95/month with the 1st month FREE. If you are new to VoIP, and unsure, these guys may be your safe bet.
The few times that I have contacted them, I have had some issues understanding their outsourced support agents, and usually end frustrated.
